Random Name Picker Wheel
Pick a student fairly and make it fun. Type or paste your class list, tap SPIN, and the wheel lands on a random name. Picked names can come off the wheel so everyone gets a turn.
How to play
- Add your class – type or paste names, one per line. They are saved on this device for next time.
- Mark who’s absent – tap a name under “Here today” and it won’t be on the wheel.
- Spin – tap SPIN or press the space bar. Picked names are removed so nobody is chosen twice, until you bring everyone back.
Frequently asked questions
Is the name picker really random?
Yes. Every name on the wheel has exactly the same chance of being picked each spin.
Are my students’ names uploaded anywhere?
No. The list is saved only in your browser on this device and is never sent to our servers.
Can I save more than one class?
Yes. Use “+ New class” to add as many classes or periods as you need, then switch between them.
