Bingo Card Generator
Make free printable bingo cards for your classroom. Choose numbers 1–75, Dolch sight words, times tables or addition facts, vocabulary themes, or type your own list – every card comes out different.
Then switch to the Caller to play on the smartboard: it draws a random call, reads it aloud and keeps a list of everything called so you can check a winning card.
How to use it in class
- Choose what goes on the cards. Numbers 1–75, Dolch pre-primer or primer sight words, times tables, addition facts, a vocabulary theme, or “My list”.
- Pick the card size. 3×3 for younger students, 4×4, or the classic 5×5. Odd sizes can have a free space in the middle.
- Print. Choose how many cards you need (up to 40) and tap “Print cards”. They print two to a page.
- Call the game. Open the Caller tab on the board and tap “Call next”. For math facts it calls the question (6 × 7) and students mark the answer (42). For vocabulary themes it reads a definition and students find the word.
Classroom ideas
Sight word bingo
Use the pre-primer or primer list as a fun way to practice reading high-frequency words.
Math facts bingo
Times tables bingo turns fact practice into a game: students solve each called fact to find the answer on their card.
Vocabulary review
Make cards from a unit’s key terms, then read out the definitions so students have to know what each word means.
Frequently asked questions
Is every card different?
Yes. Each card is shuffled separately. The classic 5×5 number cards follow the usual columns: B is 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60 and O 61–75.
How many words do I need?
At least as many as there are squares: 8 for a 3×3 card with a free space, 16 for 4×4, and 24 for 5×5 with a free space. More words make the cards more different from each other.
Which sight words are included?
The Dolch pre-primer list (40 words) and primer list (52 words).
Can students play on tablets?
Yes. Tapping a square on screen marks it, so the cards work on tablets as well as on paper.
