Brain Break Spinner

A free spinning wheel full of quick brain breaks. Spin it when energy dips or after a long stretch of focused work, and it lands on an activity like freeze dance, balancing on one foot or five slow, deep breaths.

It’s built for elementary and middle school classes but works anywhere a short reset helps. Choose movement breaks or calm breaks, or type your own.

How to use it in class

  1. Choose a set. Tap “Movement breaks” for active ideas or “Calm breaks” for quiet ones.
  2. Add your own. Type a break in “Add a break” and press Enter, or tap × to remove one. Your list is saved on this device.
  3. Spin. Tap SPIN or press the space bar. The break appears big enough for everyone to read.
  4. Time it. Tap “Start 1 minute” for a countdown, and a chime plays when the break is over.
  5. Back to work. Tap “Back to class”, or “Spin again” for another round.

A wheel made by the class

Ask students to suggest breaks, add the best ideas, and keep the wheel as your class’s own.
