Classroom Traffic Light

A big, glowing red, yellow and green light for the classroom board. Use it for voice levels (silent, whisper, talking is OK), work time (stop, finish up, keep working), or a quick “how’s it going?” check.

Tap a light or press 1, 2 or 3 on the keyboard to switch, and write your own labels for anything else.

How to use it in class

  1. Pick a set. Choose Voice level, Work time or How’s it going – or “My labels” to write your own.
  2. Switch the light. Tap a light, or press 1 for red, 2 for yellow and 3 for green.
  3. Go fullscreen. Tap the fullscreen button so the light fills the board.
  4. Edit the words. Tap “Edit labels” to change the title and what each color means.
