Big Classroom Timer
A huge, easy-to-read countdown timer for your smartboard or projector. The screen turns from green to yellow to red as time runs out, and a chime plays when it is done.
How to play
- Set the time – tap a preset like 5 min, or use the + and − buttons.
- Start – tap Start or press the space bar. Use fullscreen so the whole class can see it.
- Stopwatch – switch to Stopwatch to time activities and record laps.
Frequently asked questions
Will the timer keep going if I switch tabs?
Yes. It keeps counting in the background and will still ring when time is up.
Can I turn off the sound?
Yes. Choose “Silent” under End sound, or pick a chime, bell or buzzer.
Does the screen stay on?
On supported browsers the timer keeps the screen awake while it is running.
